Blooket Question Types & Study Guide
Learn how Blooket question sets work, then practise the format and review your material on your own time.
What is Blooket?
Blooket is a game-based learning platform used in classrooms where a teacher hosts a "question set" and students join on their own devices. The same set of questions is reused across many game modes — Gold Quest, Battle Royale, Café, Tower Defense, Crypto Hack and others — but those modes only change the on-screen game and pacing, not the underlying questions. The teaching content lives entirely in the question set. Each set is built from short objective questions: Blooket supports Multiple Choice items with two to four answer options, where one or more options can be marked correct, and a Typing Answer mode where students enter a short response. Two-option multiple choice sets effectively work as true/false. Teachers run Blooket live in class for revision and engagement, set it as homework, or share a set link so students can study independently. Because the questions stay constant across modes, reviewing one set prepares you for that set in any mode.
Question types you'll see on Blooket
- Multiple Choice — The core Blooket format: each question shows two to four answer options with one or more correct choices, presented as coloured tiles regardless of game mode.
- Multiple Response — Some Blooket Multiple Choice questions mark more than one option correct — you must select every correct tile, not just one, to earn credit.
- True/False — A two-option multiple choice item — set creators add "True" to one tile and "False" to the other, so it plays as a binary question.
- Short Answer — Blooket's Typing Answer mode asks students to type a short response rather than pick a tile; answers are checked against the creator's accepted text, which may need an exact match or just contain a key term.
- Fill in the Blank — Creators often phrase Typing Answer questions as a sentence with a missing term, so you supply the word or value that completes it.

How to study for it
Treat the question set as your study unit, not the game mode. Before a live session, ask your teacher to share the set link or use it as homework so you can read every question and its correct answer without the timer and animations. Work through the multiple choice items by covering the options and recalling the answer first, then checking — this builds genuine recall rather than pattern-matching the coloured tiles. For Typing Answer questions, practise the exact terms, since Blooket may require an exact match or just a key term, depending on how the set is built. If a set has two-option questions, drill them as true/false and make sure you can justify why. Replay the same set across a couple of modes so the content sticks even when the on-screen game changes. Save any questions you miss and revisit them; the goal is to know the material well enough that any mode feels easy.
Study for Blooket with AI Solve Quiz
AI Solve Quiz is a study and review aid, not a way to play a live game. Use it on your own question sets or revision material — never during a live, graded, hosted or proctored Blooket session. The text engine explains a multiple choice, true/false, fill-in-the-blank or typed short-answer question you have selected, walking you through why an option is correct so you understand the concept. The vision engine reads a captured image, so if a question includes a diagram, chart or worked example you can capture it and get the reasoning explained. It works one question at a time as a study companion when you are practising or reviewing. It does not play game modes, does not race the timer, and does not flood or automate live play. It cannot help with polls, drawing, audio or open-ended essay responses, and it only covers objective, auto-checkable formats — the same kinds Blooket question sets use.
For practice and learning only — never during a live, proctored, or graded Blooket assessment. See our Academic Integrity Policy.
