How AI Solve Quiz Works
From screen capture to AI explanation in four simple steps. Privacy-first by design.
Capture the Question
Press Alt + Shift + S, or right-click the page and choose "Solve this question". (Clicking the toolbar icon opens the side panel.) A selection overlay appears over the current tab — click and drag a rectangle around the question you want explained. Press Escape to cancel.
Cropped on Your Device
AI Solve Quiz crops your selected region to a small image, right in your browser. Only that crop is uploaded — never your whole screen, and never the rest of the page. Large captures are downscaled before they ever leave your device.
Advanced AI Generates the Explanation
The cropped image is sent securely to AI Solve Quiz's backend, which forwards it inline to advanced AI. Advanced AI reads the question — printed text, diagrams, charts, or pattern puzzles — and returns a structured answer and worked explanation. This uses 1 credit.
Review, Save & Share
The answer and explanation appear in the docked side panel and are saved to your session — a stack of every question you've solved, with its image, answer, and confidence. Revisit it anytime, copy the explanation, switch the output language, or turn the whole session into a shareable link.
Privacy by design
Only the region you select is captured and cropped on your device — never your full screen or the rest of the page. That single image is sent over HTTPS to our backend and advanced AI. To power your history and sharing, the image and answer are saved to your private account so you can revisit and share them. Deleting a session, or your account, purges the stored images and answers. Academic Integrity
AI Solve Quiz is a study and explanation tool. It must not be used during graded assessments, proctored exams, or any evaluation where external assistance is prohibited. See our Academic Integrity Policy .
