These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the AI Solve Quiz Chrome extension and related services (collectively, "AI Solve Quiz"). By installing or using AI Solve Quiz, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

AI Solve Quiz provides AI-powered explanations for quiz and study questions via a Chrome browser extension and mobile applications for iOS and Android. You capture a screen region; AI Solve Quiz crops it to an image on your device and our backend forwards it to Google Gemini, which returns an AI-generated explanation.

1.1 Advertising on Free Tiers

Free tiers and trial features in the AI Solve Quiz mobile applications are supported by third-party advertisements served by Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Subscribing to a paid PRO plan removes or reduces in-app advertisements.

2. Credits — License to Use the Service

AI Solve Quiz uses a credit system. Credits are not money and have no cash value. Purchasing credits is a purchase of a limited, non-transferable license to use the AI Solve Quiz service.

• Free credits: 20 credits granted once per account upon sign-up. Free credits do not renew.
• PRO subscription credits: 300 credits refreshed at the start of each billing cycle. Unused PRO credits do not roll over to the next cycle.
• Add-on credits: Purchased as one-time packs. Add-on credits never expire, stack onto your balance, and are preserved when PRO credits reset.
• Credit consumption: 1 credit is deducted per AI explanation; a failed request is automatically refunded. PRO-cycle credits are consumed before add-on credits.

3. Accuracy Disclaimer

AI-generated explanations are provided for educational and study purposes only. AI Solve Quiz does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated explanation. You are responsible for verifying information from authoritative sources before relying on it. AI Solve Quiz is not liable for any consequences of acting on AI-generated content.

4. Subscriptions and Auto-Renewal

PRO subscriptions are billed monthly via PayPal. Your subscription automatically renews each month until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from the account portal (app.aisolvequiz.com). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access to PRO credits for the remainder of that period.

By subscribing, you authorize PayPal to charge the subscription amount each month until you cancel.

5. Add-on Credits — Non-Refundable After Grant

Add-on credit packs are non-refundable once the credits have been granted to your account. Payments are processed via PayPal; standard PayPal dispute processes apply to fraudulent or unauthorized transactions.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use AI Solve Quiz to:

• Cheat on graded assessments, proctored exams, or any academic evaluation.
• Violate any institution's academic integrity or honor code policies.
• Circumvent technical measures or abuse the credit or rate-limiting systems.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the service.
• Submit harmful, illegal, or deceptive content.

6.1 Image Generation

AI Solve Quiz can generate images from a text prompt you write. When you use that feature you agree not to request, generate, or share:

• Sexual or pornographic content, or any sexualised depiction of a minor.
• Graphic violence, gore, or content that glorifies self-harm.
• Hateful, harassing, or demeaning depictions of a person or a protected group.
• Realistic imagery of a real, identifiable person without their consent, or anything intended to impersonate or defame someone.
• Content promoting weapons, drugs, or other illegal activity.

Prompts are screened before an image is generated, and every generated image can be reported from inside the app. We review reports within 24 hours and remove content that breaches these terms. Accounts used to generate prohibited content may be suspended or closed permanently, without refund. Every image the feature produces is AI-generated and is labelled as such in the app; do not present one as a photograph or as the work of a real person.

7. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, abuse the service, or attempt to defraud the credit system. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of purchased credits.

8. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the portal. Deleting your account will cancel any active PayPal subscription before your data is anonymized. See the Privacy Policy §7 for details.

9. Your Content and the License You Grant Us

You keep ownership of what you submit — the question images you capture and the text you paste. We claim no ownership of it.

So that we can run and demonstrate the service, you grant us a license to:

• store, process, and transmit your submission to the AI providers listed in the Privacy Policy, so we can return an answer;
• save it to your session history and serve it over any share link you create; and
• publish a de-identified copy of a question image in our marketing materials, subject to the safeguards and the removal right set out in Privacy Policy §2.1.

This license is non-exclusive, royalty-free, and limited to operating and demonstrating AI Solve Quiz. We do not sell your content, and we do not license it onward to anyone beyond the sub-processors named in the Privacy Policy. The third bullet ends for a given image as soon as you ask us to remove it.

You must have the right to submit what you submit. Do not upload material you are not permitted to share.

Third-party material. Many study questions are photographs of textbooks, workbooks, and exam papers whose copyright belongs to a publisher rather than to you or to us. You cannot grant rights you do not hold, and nothing in this section claims to transfer any. Where we publish an image under §2.1 we rely on the limited use of short extracts that applicable copyright law permits for illustration and commentary. If you hold rights in material that appears in our marketing and you want it removed, email [email protected] identifying the material. We will take it down promptly on receipt; you do not need to send a formal notice first.

10. Our Intellectual Property

AI Solve Quiz's software, branding, and content are owned by AI Solve Quiz and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the extension for personal study purposes.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

AI Solve Quiz is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Solve Quiz's liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the three months preceding the claim.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date. Continued use of AI Solve Quiz after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
